Progress 8 unvalidated score updates

We have updated our P8 calculations for the summer 2023 Year 11 cohort to be based on the unvalidated national averages, released today. This means that if you refresh your Summer 2023 GCSE assessment term, you will see updated Progress 8 figures.

Please be aware that there may still be disparities with official figures due to:

• any differences in attainment, which are most commonly due to the results of re-marks not being included in calculations
• any differences in the Prior Attainment Groups that the students are in.

We have also updated the tables for all Year 7 to Year 11 cohorts, for the current academic year. This means that if you refresh your 'EOLY' (End of Last Year) assessment term or any other 2023/24 assessment term, KS4 progress calculations will be made against 2023 national averages.
