Release note - Behaviour Detention Placeholders - January 2023

We are happy to introduce an update to our behaviour email alert feature in ProgressTeaching.

When using the detention register feature, schools will now be able to send automatic emails to staff or parents / carers with additional information about the date, length, and time of the detention.

This allows schools to seamlessly keep parents / carers and staff informed about when pupils are placed into detentions by teachers.

Schools can now include the following information within their behaiviour email alerts from the system:

• The date of the detention
• The time that the detention starts
• The total length of the detention

Within the email, these details will automatically fill using the information in the system, saving valuable time when trying to keep staff and parents / carers informed.
