Tracking appraisal progress through RAG-rating
Use this page to decide whether appraisals at your school will use RAG (Red, Amber, Green) ratings to monitor target progress.
RAG ratings are a measure of whether an appraisee is on track, not of target completion (which is shown by its target status).
Before you start:
Permissions:
Only Admin users (school or trust) can access this page.
Dependencies:
None. You can toggle RAG-rating at any point.
You can...
- Enable or disable RAG-rating for appraisal forms.
- Choose who can set RAG ratings: appraisees only, appraisers only, or both. These options are controlled by radio-select buttons.
Notes
- If RAG-rating is disabled, targets will not display any rating options.
- Historical RAG-ratings remain in our database even if you later disable the feature. This means that if you turn them back on, they will be preserved.
