Before you start:

Permissions:

Only Admin users (school or trust) can access this page.

You can…

  • View all existing staff groups for your school.
  • Create new staff groups (e.g., "ECT1", "SEN Teachers", "Cover Supervisors").
  • Edit existing staff groups to update their names or sort order.
  • Control target area visibility: Membership of a staff group determines which target areas appear on an appraisee’s form.

Notes

  • Default staff groups include: Teachers, Leaders, Teaching Assistants, and Administrative Staff.
  • You can create additional groups to suit your school's structure (e.g., ECT1, ECT2).
  • Staff must be assigned to a staff group to generate an appraisal form.
  • Sort order is used in dashboards to organise data consistently.
