    How to assign roles to a user

    1. Access the Admin area.

    2. Select Users > Users from the menu.

    3. Search for the user in this list.

    4. Select the pencil icon for them.

    5. In the Roles field, input any required permissions (please see below for a full list) and click Save.

    ReaderGeneral access, write and send letters for approval, log behaviour, create seating plans and view school data.
    ManagerCan be given permissions for observations.
    AdminAccess to the Admin area.
    Behaviour detention allocatorCan allocate students to school detentions.
    Behaviour ManagerCan edit behaviour records created by other staff members.
    Behaviour notify parentCan use the parent notification feature when recording behaviour.
    Observation ManagerCan see all unpublished observation data for the school (requires management role permissions.)
    Observation ExportCan export observation data that the user has access to.
    Parent Letter ManagerCan authorize letters for others and send letters to parents without the need to authorize them.
    Parent Letter PrivateCan view student letters in the system marked as 'Private'.
    Parent ManagerCan access the Admin area Parent section.
    Self Eval ManagerCan access the Admin area Self Evaluation section.
    Report ManagerCan see all school reports.
    Student Strategy ManagerCan access the Admin area Student Strategy section.
    Forward in TimeCan put the system date forward from the present day.
    PrincipalFull access to the platform.
    Markbook QCCan access the Admin area Markbook quality check section.
